Getting There

Fly:

The nearest airport is Shannon, about an hour's drive away to the south.

Shannon is served by Ryanair, Aer Lingus and British Midland, with flights from the London, Moscow, Brussels and Frankfurt as well as a number of US cities.

Even if there is not a direct flight, consider changing at Stansted if you are flying Ryanair. Otherwise, fly to Dublin and take the bus or train.

Ferry:

Cork is the nearest ferryport. Sailings are from Swansea or Roscoff.

Train:

From Dublin, get the train to Galway, Limerick or Ennis and then transfer to bus. See Irish Rail website for details.

Bus:

There are bus services to Doolin from Galway, Limerick, Ennis and Tralee, with connecting services from Dublin and from Shannon Airport. Search the Bus Eireann website for Doolin, and choose the appropriate route.
