Activities

One of the key parts of an LBW is of course the Wanderung. Ireland is shaped like a teacup, with it's higher points along the edge, so just because it is beside the sea, it doesn't mean that there is no walking in the area. In fact, Doolin is a stop on the Burren Way, a walk of 45km. But you don't have to do it all ;-) You could just take it easy and walk the 4 miles to the Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland's outstanding natural beauty spots. Or even lazier, just get the ferry across to the Aran Islands.

As well as walking, the village and the Doolin Lodge also have bicycle hire and horseriding is advertised by a lot of the B&Bs.

All of the below are within reach, either by foot or by a *short* drive.
